The Japanese Slipper Cocktail recipe may be a little retro but there is something so fun about the drink, I’ve always thought. Fabulous to look at, lower in alcohol than other drinks and it’s one you can easily make in a large jug for a crowd, it balances sweet and tart wonderfully. Don’t forget the cherry!

Makes 1 Drink
30 ml Midori
30 ml triple sec
30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 x Bada Bing or Maraschino cherry, to garnish
1. Place the Midori, triple sec and lemon juice in to a cocktail shaker. Add ice and then shake to combine.
2. Pour into a martini style glass and pop a cherry in.
